FOOD BANKS:  Club donates £5510 to help local families:  



The Covid epidemic has revealed a huge need to support many families in these

difficult times.Rotary is seeking to help by supporting local food banks.

Our Club is actively helping in this endeavour. Members are volunteering to help collect and deliver the food. The picture shows President Tony and Rotarian Sandra helping out at the Cotgrave foodbank,

and we have contributed £4010 directly to seven local Foodbanks: 

Clifton 

Keyworth 

The Meadows  

Cotgrave

Friary in West Bridgford 

Guru Nanak Mission in Nottingham City Centre 

Betel of Britain.


In addition, we have donated £750 to Rotary District 1220, where it will be matched with another £750 from Rotary International and distributed within our area.This is part of an initiative by Rotary District 1220 to raise and donate £100,000 to Foodbanks in the Nottinghamshire,Derbyshire and South Yorkshire areas.
