Ukraine Independence Day Celebrations

The 8 Rotary Clubs in the North West Area of our District all supported the Picnic and Games organised to mark the 31st anniversary of the independence of Ukraine and to raise funds to support the country in their current conflict.

The event was held at the Warren on Keston Common and 24th August 2022 was a perfect english summers afternoon. There were games for the children, refreshments, music and a demonstration of country dancing organised by Beckenham Rotarian, Michelle and her friends. 

The afternoon was a great success, raising funds for the Ukranian charity and featuring on the ITV evening news.
