Rotary's Wrap Up Inititative Explained

Club President Dean Christy received the following message from Steve Jenkins, the lead member for the Rotary District in Southern Wales Wrap Up Scheme on Saturday 4 November 2023.

Hi Dean,

A big thank you to Julie, Keith and members of your Club for a brilliant collection of warm coats for those in greatest need this winter.

The car was full even with the back seats down and, whilst I haven't counted there must be 120-140 items of clothing, many of them of an excellent quality. It is difficult to put a value on this but the benefit is that this number of people will get a quality coat they would not otherwise have.

We will be sorting in Cardiff on Monday and I estimate that this year we may achieve close to 1,500 in total.

Best Wishes

Steve Jenkins
