A competition for children at the Church of England Primary School


What do I aspire to be?

63 entries on A3 paper were submitted from years 5 and 6 at Wickham Church of England Primary school at the end of June, 2022 organised by the deputy head, Loren Way.  These entries were scrutinised by Graham Lawrence and Brian Ray.  It took about three hours to pick three winners.  After a meeting with the deputy head an additional prize was awarded.

At a ceremony on 19th July attended by Graham, Brian and our president, Ron Crank each gave a short synopsis of the work of Rotary and Brian gave the origins of the competition. The prizes were awarded by Ron.  The winners were

1. Tatum O'C. - Interior designer
2. Rivali S - Gymnast (absent from the ceremony)
3=. Thomas A - Chef
3=. James T - Geologist
