Peter McCormack Organiser of the Bedford Bitcoin Group provides an update on what is happening in the world of Bitcoin and teaching people about the technology.
On June 11th we have Pete McCormack of Real Bedford and Bitcoin fame coming to give us a talk. You might have seen in the local and national news over the last week that Real Bedford have had quite a bit of coverage. This includes a significant injection of funds, circa £3.6M, which is quite unprecedented for a club at their level, and also that they have won their league title for the second year in a row.
As this promises to be a really interesting talk and is likely to appeal to a wider audience, we have decided that this would be an ideal choice for a guest evening. Therefore could I ask everyone to do their best to invite along one or two guests for the evening.
