The area covered by this district
District 1175 serves the South West of England as far west as the Isles of Scilly and covering Devon and Cornwall. We currently have around 76 clubs with approximately 1,800 members.
District 1175 is one cog in Rotary International, which is a global network of service volunteers. It is world's largest service organisation for business and professional people, with 1,189,951 members (as of 31 August 2022) operating in 200 countries worldwide.
We are also part of a cluster of Districts making up Southern Wales and South West England. We combine to deliver trainings and work together to support each other.
There are over 41,000 Rotarians in Great Britain and Ireland in over 1,600 clubs, helping those in need and working towards world understanding and peace. It’s a fulfilling role, and Rotarians can get involved as much or as little as their time will allow. Rotary is an organisation for everyone.
