Club of the Week - Guildford District Wins RIBI's Best Club Magazine for 2010

The Guildford ECH of the Rotary Club of Guildford District has been judged to be the winner of the RIBI Best Club Bulletin Award for 2010.

The magazine comprising of four A4 pages is published six times a year and distributed electronically to all current Members together with hard copy to Honorary members. The ECH, formally the ECHO, has been a regular feature of the Club since its formation in 1975. Using desktop publishing its appearance has now become most professional with the ECH Editor Don Raffin co-opted as Ex Officio member of Club Council to keep fully abreast of all things happening across each of the avenues of service to ensure the magazine reports accurately and efficiently on latest news.

The trophy was presented at the RIBI Conference in Bournemouth, near the start of the Plenary Session, on Sunday morning 18th April (click on thumbnail). Pictured are Don Raffin Magazine Editor of the Echo with last year's Club President Bill proudly holding the Award, which is inscribed on the reverse with all of the past annual winners.
