The Prince's Trust 2012
Recently the Youth Committee have been working closely with the young people of the Prince's Trust.
Recently the Youth Committee have been working closely with young people of the Prince's Trust, who have been painting, decorating and gardening at Cheadle Heath Community Centre in memory of two ex Lamplighter members, Miles Leach and Phil Holgate. The young people worked extremely hard and interacted well with the elderly people who use the centre. At the end of the two weeks work, the group invited Lamplighters to a buffet to celebrate the hand over of the refurbished rooms. Many users were present and were delighted at the improvement in the decor of the rooms and the wonderful difference that had been made in the gardens. It is always a pleasure to work with such an enthusiastic group of young people.
The final presentation is to be held at Stockport County's ground in April when these young members of the Prince'sTrust will give their own individual impression of how the course has affected them and improved their life.
