Jun 2015 Rotary Kids Out Fun Day - Wimpole Hall

Wed, Jun 10th 2015 at 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

A day of fun for children from the local Special Schools at Wimpole. Bouncy Castles, Face painting, Kite Making and Flying and much more.

The Kids Out Day this year involved 94 enthusiastic children and young people from Special Schools around the Cambridge area.  The Royston Rotary Club ably organised the activities and were supported by members from several other clubs eg. Cambridge South, Cambridge, Sawston, Haverhill, Saffron Walden and Baldock.

The youngsters have lots of activities to choose from including visiting the Farm (with Sheep Shearing), Face Painting, Bouncy Castles, Mural dawing, Kits making and Flying, a ride on the minature Steam Train, Giant Bubbles and the Magical Music Box.

Everyone got a Kids Out cap and T-shirt to commemorate the event.

We had a wonderful day and the weather was perfect for flying the kites up to the end of their strings !

Next Year we will be supporting this rewarding event again - Do get in touch if you would like to help us.
