Members and friends of the five Rotary Clubs in Salford met for the annual crown green bowling competition at Monton Bowling Club. All five clubs fielded two teams and after nearly three hours of play, Irlam came out the winners (again!)
Eccles came away with sore feet and backs but it was good to meet up with friends from the other clubs and enjoy the traditional "Pie and Peas"
The bonus this year was the weather, fantastic sunshine - you don't get to wear sunglasses in Eccles every day!
