Sat 11th June 2022 Static cycle challenge for Prostate Cancer
A team of Rotarians took turns on the bike at Crieff Co-Op on Town Green. Passers-by tried to guess how far they 'travelled'' for a cash donation and one young lady won an exciting cash prize!
Tue 7th June 2022 Club Meeting - Craig & Bentley murder case
In a change to our programme, honorary member Jeff Davies (a former police Royal Protection Officer) took us back seventy years to a notorious murder case and a probable major miscarriage of justice.
Sun 5th June 2022 Platinum Jubilee celebration at MacRosty Park
A team of loyal Rotarians helped with the parking of cars for those attending the excellent 'Thank You Day' Party in the Park celebrations in Crieff.

Having planted our donated Rowan Tree back in February, today we returned to install the commemorative plaque.

Tue 17th May 2022 Avril Duncan on stopping girl trafficking
Avril has a project in India to stop the trafficking of girls and has written a book called "Diverted Traffic". Together with husband Bill, she updated us on progress with her campaign and brought some books to sell.

A dedicated team of Crieff Rotarians weeded and prepared the Rotary centenary 'Heart of Gold' rose garden in MacRosty Park ready for summer.

Sun 24th April 2022 Perthshire Vintage Car Rally
Organised by Perth Rotary Club. Crieff Rotarians assisted with the marshalling of the cars at the end of the rally at the Crieff Hydro hotel and were delighted to meet HRH Duke of Kent and brother Prince Michael.

Murray Fraser, director of this Crieff-based charity, told us of the benefits of cold water immersion in local lochs as a cure for stress and depression.

Ian Buchan updated us on Strathcare - the local charity that helps our elderly and infirm neighbours and is the home of Bertie the Bus. When we couldn't find a suitable venue, the meeting reverted to Zoom.

The Rotary Club of Crieff resolved to help celebrate Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee by planting trees in Crieff, Comrie, Muthill and Braco.

We have now planted our remaining 'Purple for Polio' crocus corns around the Rotary 'Heart of Gold' rose garden on the upper level of MacRosty Park.

Mon 18th October 2021 'Purple for Polio' Crocus planting afternoon
Together with 'Muthill in Bloom', we planted a large number of crocus corns next to the Dog Well alongside Willoughby Street in Muthill. Further corns were also donated for planting around the village War Memorial.

Tue 10th August 2021 THE LAST SUPPER
As we were all aware, Yann and Shari have sold their restaurant and ceased operations in September. The idea tonight was that we had a "Last Supper" there as a club (to which partners were welcome) and bade farewell to Yann and Shari.
Thu 5th August 2021 Golf Day
After a two-year gap, our Golf Day returned for 2021 with teams competing at Crieff Golf Club all day. The usual 'raffle' operated as well. A net surplus of almost £6,500 was achieved, all of which was transferred to our vital charity account.Tue 3rd August 2021 Golf Day arrangements followed by Council Meeting. Zoom
As this is the last meeting before our annual AM-AM Golf Day the meeting will concentrate on arrangements for the day. Followed by a Council Meeting which has been moved to facilitate the club Last Supper at Yanns on the 10th August.

Lara Haggerty will be updating us on the changes and improvements to Innerpeffray Library since she last spoke to the club some years ago. The oldest public lending library in Scotland , it was opened in 1680 and still functions today.
