The Rotary Club of Preston (Torbay) was formed in 1969 and is a very active club whose members believe that enjoyment and involvement are key to a successful club.
Meetings are on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th Wednesday evenings of every month at The Paignton Club.
Charities we have supported in the last few years include:
Rowcroft Hospice, Torbay Young Carers, Childrens Hospice South West, Paignton Larder, National Coastwatch Institution and many, many others.
In addition the club raises funds for national and international charities including Water Aid, Combat Stress, Shelterbox and the End Polio Now Campaigns. Over the course of an average year the club makes donations to more than twenty charities.
Preston Rotary Club is eager to recruit anyone who feels that they wish to put something back into the community in which they live. A warm welcome awaits those who may be interested in becoming a member and who wish to share our commitment and enthusiasm demonstrating the ideals of Rotary through service and fellowship. Rotary is also a great way of meeting like-minded people and making lasting friendships.
