For World Earth Day we held a litter pick at Alvaston Park where we collected 16 bags of litter and recorded 1556 pieces of plastic with Kids Against Plastic.

We work with Village by Village in Ghana who are currently supporting a period poverty project to enable girls to continue their education. Also, a Tech to Teach programme providing tablets to schoolchildren

We have reverted meeting times back to lunchtimes only as this suits most of our members currently. The Satellite group meets on the fourth Monday evening of the month either online or at a central Derby city pub.

About us

Welcome to the website for the Rotary Club of Derby. Our club has been supporting the local community as well as National and International projects for over 100 years. 

On these pages you'll find lots of information about our projects and events. Although we welcome new members, you do not have to be a member to get involved. We welcome friends and volunteers. If you are interested please do get in touch.Perhaps you seek a more relaxed Rotary. We have a Satellite group that plays its part in the community but meets less frequently.

We offer a variety of meeting options, face-to-face, online, at lunchtime and in the evenings and you would be welcome to come along to any of our meetings, simply get in touch. angus.rotaryderby@btinternet.com
