About us

Welcome to Southwell Rotary - part of an organisation of 1.2 million people who come together to create positive, lasting change in our communities, and around the world.

And we enjoy ourselves whilst doing it!

We are a very friendly club that welcomes new members - just click on the link above right to get in touch.

Club meetings are a mixture of 'face-to-face' and Zoom:
1st, 3rd and 5th Thursday [if there is one] of month - Zoom meetings commencing at 7.30pm
2nd and 4th Thursday of month - Face-to face meetings at Southwell Golf Course [The Racecourse] commencing at 7.00pm.
No meeting on the Thursday following a Bank Holiday.
Please contact the Secretary for more information.

Our major fundraising event for Macmillan  - The World's Biggest Coffee Morning - was this year held in The Methodist Hall, Prebend Passage, again with support from Southwell Lions and others.

There was the usual mix of coffee, delicious cakes, pre-owned baby and toddler items, pre-owned books and unwanted items, raffle etc.

Just over £2000 was raised at the event - which together with a bucket collection in Southwell town centre and at the Co-op has enabled us to donate £2750 to Macmillan Cancer Support.
