We are an active, welcoming club with many activities, including weekly lunches at the County Hotel
Details
The Club was awarded the Club Excellence Award by Rotary International for the 2024-25 year, for fostering a poistive experience for its members and reflecting the values of Rotary. The certificate is shown here.
We meet usually every Monday at the County Hotel, Priestpopple, Hexham, NE46 1PS at 12.30 for lunch at 12.45. You should book in for lunch below.
At most of our meetings the meal is followed by a guest speaker, who might talk about a Rotary issue, a local initiative, a charity, fundraising or service opportunity or any topic that might be of interest. Recently we've had fascinating talks by Lord Stevens on the Northumbria Police, Tricia from Calendar Girls and a Global Grant initiative in Sri Lanka by Andrew Buddle.
Members and guests must book in for lunch with the Administration Team by the Friday beforehand as the Hotel needs the numbers on the Friday evening.
