About us

Welcome to Wolstanton Rotary Club.

Wolstanton Rotary Club was chartered in 1986, most of our members meet weekly at The Borough Arms Hotel in Newcastle under Lyme, each Thursday, except after bank holidays.

Over more than 30 years we have made many good friends, we have organised social events, weekends away and visits to businesses and industry.

We have raised over £300.000 for causes including thoserelating to cancer, domestic violence, elimination of polio and a school in Uganda. We have made donations to, Dougie Mac, Macmillan Cancer Support and The Peter Pan Nursery and many others.

We have supported The Rotary Shoebox scheme for the benefit of children in under developed countries, we have collected used tents for use in disaster areas.
Supported local schools and engaged pupils in environmental projects.

We take part in sports, competing with other local Rotary clubs, including bowls, croquet, golf, darts & 10 pin bowling.
