Bala Food and Drink Festival 27th June 2020

Exciting news, this year Bala and Penllyn Rotary Club will be holding their first ever Food and Drink Festival here in Bala. Entry to the event itself is free but donations to our charities would be much appreciated.


Previous activities

Some of the events or visits we have made over the recent years.... Our Bala Challenge funds helped Wales Air Ambulance with a £500 donation on 6th November 2017.

This year’s lucky pair were Ceri Dolben-Evans and Dafydd Llŷr Ellis, who both had a fantastic time and returned from the course brimming over with what an amazing time they had experienced, and how much they had developed personally in such a small time.

Our Home Town  Bala - North Wales

The market town of Bala is located at the head of Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake) - the area around Bala, known as Penllyn, is famous for its lakes and mountain scenery and is ideal for a holiday destination.

The Bala Rotary Club's Wishing Well story


Our Rotary Wishing Well was delivered to us here in beautiful Wales by way of a chain of Rotary clubs handing the well along the route from Exmouth until it arrived here in Bala.
