About us

This is a very difficult time for us all and so it is more important than ever that we do as much as possible to support each other and help those who are are unable to provide for their own needs. The above leaflet gives the information from the local authority but it is also well supported by the service clubs and other volunteers.

Richard Brind President 2019-20

"NHS staff work super hard, so we would love to be able to donate as many hand-creams as possible to hospitals, as they need them now more than ever. Their hands will be sore with the additional sanitising and a nice hand-cream might just make their hands a bit softer. We just want to let them know we're thinking of them, and we appreciate all they're doing, and maybe even bring a smile to their faces.

"We have just placed our 7th order - the latest one has 40 hand creams, 20 shower gels and 5 handwash. Before I order I check with DCH about what they want so that none of your generous donations go to waste. To date I have ordered handcream etc to the value of £765.46. Thank you to everyone that has donated, and a special thank you to those that donate regularly, we are making a difference in so many ways.
