Rotary Club of Henllys - welcome! Please scroll/swipe down through this page to find out more about us, in addition to the pages linked in the menu, top-left.
The Club was chartered in December 2004.
We are a friendly club with members from all walks of life with the express aim of 'Service above Self'. Our membership is a mix of ages and genders. We meet on the first and third Wednesday of every month.
Over the years we have raised thousands of pounds for both local and international causes. We participate in events such as the Cwmbran Big Event, Henllys Summer Fete and many other venues.
In June we sponsor three schools to take part in Kids Out, the annual trip to Barry Island for children with additional needs. It's a wonderful day out for all parties involved.
The club supports End Polio Now by collecting plastic bottletops from individuals, groups and businesses which are recycled and the monies earned donated to this worthy cause which aims to eradicate polio in the world it also raises awareness of the problem of plastic in the environment.
This year we are raising funds for a Shelter Box which will be sent to countries facing natural disasters.
These are only a few of the activities we undertake why not come along and meet us and find out more?
