Christmas Collections

The club arranges a number of Christmas collections each year where we visit local housing estates and supermarkets with Santa and his sleigh to spread Christmas cheer and raise money for good causes.

About us

Who we are:

We are a group of local people who work together. We are men and women of all ages from 20s to late 80s. We are a completely voluntary organisation and raise money for good causes through our charitable trust. 

What we do:

We aim to make a difference in the world. We run projects, raise money and volunteer our time to help a number of local, national and international causes. For more information about the projects we support and the work we do please see our Facebook page or browse the other pages on the website.

Memory Cafe Cuppa Chat Afternoon

Belper Memory Cafe meets at Belper Baptist Church, Bridge Street, Belper on the second and fourth Thursday of each month and is for people living with dementia and their carers. Today will be our Cuppa Chat afternoon.

Sponsored by Belper & Duffield Rotary we normally meet every two weeks at Belper Community Hall, Bridge Street, Belper for people living with the effects of Stroke and their carers. Today we are having Keep fit with Christine, followed by social time.

Belper Stroke Club

Sponsored by Belper & Duffield Rotary today is our first excursion of the year and is to HMP Sudbury for a delicious lunch. We will call at a garden centre on the way home to look at the plants on display or possibly to buy a few.

We meet on Mondays at 18:30 for 19:00

(We meet on Monday evenings, except for Bank Holidays. We meet at Strutt's Community Centre on the first three Mondays of the month and then have a social evening at a different venue on the fourth Monday of the month. See Meetings & Events page. ) Strutts Community Centre
