About us

Who we are:

We are a group of local people who work together. We are men and women of all ages from 20s to late 80s. We are a completely voluntary organisation and raise money for good causes through our charitable trust. 

What we do:

We aim to make a difference in the world. We run projects, raise money and volunteer our time to help a number of local, national and international causes. For more information about the projects we support and the work we do please see our Facebook page or browse the other pages on the website.

Weekly Meeting

In a change to what was previously circulated we will tonight be having a "celebration of Rotary" - guests are invited - indeed encouraged. Light refreshments will be available.

We will be meeting at the Community Hall on Bridge Street, for our regular get together with refreshments and some musical entertainment from Tony and Janet Wignall.

Cancer Pitstop - Belper

British Legion Club, Strutt Street is the venue, where men going through the cancer journey, or supporting a loved one, can meet up for a friendly chat - no formality. Refreshments available.

Belper Stroke Club

We will be meeting at Belper Community Hall, Bridge Street, Belper for some musical entertainment from one of our favourites, Hazel on her accordion. Then refreshments and lots of friendly chat.

We meet on Mondays at 18:30 for 19:00

(We meet on Monday evenings, except for Bank Holidays. We meet at Strutt's Community Centre on the first three Mondays of the month and then have a social evening at a different venue on the fourth Monday of the month. See Meetings & Events page. ) Strutts Community Centre
