About us

We have been serving the community of Warrington since 1927 and are particularly proud of our connections to the Johnathan Ball and Tim Parry Peace Centre in Warrington and our local links to charity and local civic groups. We continue to support international hunger projects in Kenya and other Sub Saharan regions in Africa, as well as being strong supporters of the local food bank. We have supported the "Shoebox Scheme" for the past 12 years, where we send small boxes of essential supplies and small gifts to children in North - East Romania. We also support third world entrepreneurs with micro -finance loans as well as supporting small charities with finacial aid.  More recently we have organised our "Community Picnics" to help bring communities togehter and of course, we have supported COVID 19 charities.

Our signature fundraiser is our annual Oktoberfest Beer Festival which is now in it's 25th year and has raised over £350,000 for local and international good causes.  While we are unable to host this event this year, we continue to plan for 2021.

We are a diverse group of volunteers who enjoy working together on projects and building friendships and even in these trying times we continue to meet fortnightly on video conferencing platforms and continue to support the community.

Becoming a Rotarian is a tremendous way to make friends, increase your social and business network and put something back into the local and worldwide community.

Do you think you would like to volunteer for one of our projects or do you just want to connect with like minded people who want to give something back to the community, then I would be pleased to hear from you if you do.
