DetailsRotary Clubs and Members donate to 'Foundation' Rotary's Charity. All monies contributed are used to help humanitarian and educational projects, scholarships and the drive to eradicate polio. Ukraine will also benefit from such donations.
DetailsAfter spending almost two years (on and off) meeting on Zoom we are back meeting face to face!
Widnes Rotary Club
First chartered on 24th September 1937, we celebrated our 84th anniversary last October with an annual dinner.
We are a small group of like-minded men and women who get together every fortnight for fellowship and to plan our various social events and fundraisers, many of which have been on hold for so long! Many have a meal and a chat, but some come along just to get together. The choice is yours!
Widnes Rotary Satellite Group
A more relaxed style of meeting, designed for those with less time to spare and purely project based. Sadly Covid has had an effect on this group getting off the ground but ideally would meet for an hour or two every couple of weeks over a coffee or a drink, to plan and organise projects both in the local community and abroad.
We are always looking to attract new members, so if you are interested in joining either the main Club or a Satellite group, with no obligation, you will be made most welcome. Or if you have any questions, please just send a message via our 'Contact Us' page.
Check out our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages - search @widnesrotary or scroll down to the bottom of the page to see our social media links.
We meet on Mondays at 6.15 for 6.30 pm
(Not meeting throughout December as we're delighted to say we'll be out with our Christmas Float!) The TavernBe part of a global network of volunteers, trying to make the world a better place. Please also see the 'links & news' page for information from the local district and live feeds from Rotary International and Rotary International in GB&I.
