Rotary Ramblers

We now have two community activities to enable us (current restrictions permitting) to get together during these difficult times. For the fitter members, a monthly walk of 4-6 miles around the Trimleys and, for the less energetic, a promenade walk.

About us

Felixstowe Rotary  Club - Who we are and what we do

Welcome to the website of the Rotary Club of Felixstowe.

The Club was formed in 1926, we are very proud of our long history of fellowship and service to the Felixstowe area and worldwide community.

Unfortunately due to the COVID 19 pandemic we have had to cancel a number of our fundraising activities, however it is our intention to re-instate these events as soon as we are able to.

We are a lively, active lunchtime Club, known for our hospitality, humour and fun. The Rotary motto is “Service Above Self” and we need to raise funds to support our local, national and International projects. We do this through several events each year and have great fun along the way. We organise an annual Fun Run, Rudolf and Santa campaign, Boxing Dinner and Music concerts. Over the past twelve months alone we have donated over £25,000 to local and International causes from our events. Thanks to all who support these events and particularly to our sponsors.

But it’s not just about donations, we also see ourselves as initiators and facilitators of initiatives within our community.  Our Youth Development project, focussing on giving our young people the confidence to succeed, runs a football tournament hosted by ITFC and a “Kids Kitchen” in association with Felixstowe Academy and the Yeo Group. And, amongst the initiatives in the planning stage, we are looking to play a part in tackling the loneliness felt by many in our community.

Thank you for visiting our website, please read about our fundraising events, find out what we do and how you might be able to get involved or help us.
