About us
Rotary Club of Ipswich is the original of the 5 clubs which now serve the town. It was founded in 1923 and now meets on the 1st, 3rd, 4th (and 5th) Thursdays for lunch at the Holiday Inn, London Road, Ipswich. We suggest people arrive from 12.30 so they have a time of fellowship ahead of the 1.00 meal, which on most weeks is followed by a speaker.
On 2nd Thursdays we have an evening meeting with partners, currently alternating between the Ipswich and Suffolk Club and Belstead Brook hotel.
We have around 40 members, male and female, individual and Business members, with Community Service and Youth Service 2 key areas, amongst others.
