The Rotary Club of EnfieldFounded on 29th September 1928 Rotary is a worldwide organisation of more than 1.2 million business, professional and community leaders who make up 33,000 Rotary Clubs in over 200 countries around the world. We are non political, non religious and open to all cultures, races and creeds and we unite to achieve in the principal goal of helping others who are less fortunate than us under the Rotary banner of “service above self”. WHAT IS ROTARY ABOUT OUR CLUB AND WHERE WE MEET Enfield Rotary Club currently has a membership of 17 men and women who are dedicated to obtaining these goals not only for our local community but internationally as well, we feel that we excel in having a strong fellowship and an interesting program of speakers, outings and events as indicated by our club web site. So why not come and meet us and perhaps bring a friend you can then see first hand what we do and how we achieve it. Just let us know in advance so that we can make the necessary catering arrangements. You can contact our club secretary, details as given on this web site. OUR VENUE with easy access from Crews Hill Station (5 min walk). We meet on Monday evenings except Bank Holidays at The Plough Please arrive 6.45pm for a meeting start time of 7pm. Meeting normally ends at about 8.30pm. Please let us know in advance if you would like to come along. The cost of the meal is £12 which includes a lovely meal followed by coffee. |
