Our Club is supporting local and international community initiatives and projectsdetails
The Rotary Club of The City & Shoreditch was formed in 1933. For almost 90 years our members have supported a great deal of worthy causes through voluntary service. Our membership is made up of Rotarians from a variety of professions and different nationalities, which gives the Rotary Club of The City & Shoreditch a truly international outlook. Our Club continues to support Rotary International's quest to eradicate polio throughout the world by raising funds and donating to this cause. Our Rotarians express their 'Service Above Self' (the Rotary motto) in a range of activities in the local and wider communities.
Developed over many decades, we have created deep bonds with our twin clubs in Lodi/Italy, St. Raphael/France and Leipzig-Bruehl in Germany. Each club in turn is hosting an annual get together and we have supported each other's international charity projects. We meet every Tuesday in the City of London over lunch/dinner. However, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic we now meet online at the following times:
7pm on the first and third Tuesday of the month, on the other Tuesdays in the afternoon at 2:30pm.
If you are interested, please join our team of Rotarians who like to welcome you to work for the good of the world. We would love to hear from you.
Yours in Rotary
