Dave Griffiths' speakers today will be Dave Lee-Birch and Tracy Leonard of Oswestry Life magazine.
After losing their jobs at Shropshire Review magazine, when its parent company Reviewmedia Ltd went into voluntary liquidation a week before Christmas 2016, David and Tracy were left in shock wondering what to do next. With over 25 years' experience each working in the areas biggest media outlets, the pair made the brave decision to launch their own magazine Oswestry Life, launching with their first issue in March 2017.
They have been astounded with the support shown by local businesses and people from the town and overwhelmed by the demand from former clients who wanted to advertise.
They will tell us more about their story today.
