Rotary Children's Fun Day

Our contribution to the Rotary Children's Fun Day involves Alpacas!

Rotary Children's Fun Day provides positive experiences for some of the UK's most vulnerable and disadvantaged children.

The programme is organised by Rotary clubs across the country. It is supported by Kids in Mind, a children's charity that offers mental health and wellbeing support for children escaping domestic violence.

For more than three decades, Rotary has been giving disabled and disadvantaged young people the chance to enjoy new experiences, taste adventure and have fun trips and days out and more than 1 million children have enjoyed a break from the ordinary in a range of ways.

Our contribution to this day is to take some SEN children to visit the Alpacas Centre on Saturday 14th June - definitely something out of the ordinary!.  Stephen, Erika and Michael will be there, and Ian, Rhian and David D are joining them.  You are welcome to pop in for a cup of tea and see how it is going.

Many thanks to Stephen for applying for some funding from Rotary and organising the event.
