After President Mike had welcomed the Rotarians and
their guests to the social evening, Secretary Garth read out a letter of appreciation from St David’s Hospice thanking the club for the recent day out for patients and staff, which is now an annual event and a highlight of the Rotary year
Philip Jones ably assisted by his wife Margaret had developed a music quiz in 3 parts. Probably the best part was a ‘Name that Tune’ section when Philip played the correct notes but this time not necessarily at the correct tempo.
Members were reminded that the crocus bulb planting in Queens Park Craig y Don was to take place on Wednesday 5th October
