From 26th May – 6th June 2014, a team of Burton Albion Community Trust supporters visited a rural area of Ghana to spend 10 days volunteering with two NGO schools.
The trip was in support of the African Adventures’ annual Community Development Pledge to work and support community projects in profoundly poor areas, usually where families live off less than 60p per day.
At the same time, funds were raised to support the work of Burton Albion Community Trust, which serves the Burton and surrounding areas, so the event had a lasting impact in both the UK and Africa.
