This year the annual clay pigeon shooter's dinner was held at the Ship Inn.
Clay pigeon shooting takes place between May and September each year at the Nettleton shooting grounds.Owing to the fact that the number of Rotarians is small we include "regular"geusts to boost the numbers.
Each night we have fifty clays and the stands are of varying degrees of difficulty. At the end of the evening we go to the pub for a meal and discuss our performance. Some of our geusts shoot better than the Rotarians.
By collating the marks from the sciore cards Nick awarded the trophy (a glass bowl) to Frank Vivian.A well deserving winner.
Perhaps some of us can do better next year!
