A report of the event.

On Saturday May 10th we had our Charity Clay Pigeon Shoot at Nettleton Shooting Lodge which had 5 stands (one doubled as the novice stand) with 8 clays at each stand of varing degree or difficulty. Each competitor shot 40 clays.

Cash prizes were awarded to !st 2nd and 3rd highest scorer.

It was a very warm and sunny day for shooters and spectators and some even had several rounds! It was a very successful event and we raised £636 for the President’s charity the Shalom Youth Centre. Canon John Ellis, who is in charge of the centre, attended with his wife. He was  accompanied by his grandson who had a go at the novice stand hitting some clays.

The top shot was Nick Wells and second was David Jex. The person who came third donated the prize to  the charity
