The Annual Grimsby 10K ( Tape2Tape) run (Ørsted) was held on Sunday June 2nd. It was a lovely sunny day with a slight breeze (in the shadows of trees it was a little chilly). The run started at Grimsby Town Hall and finished in the Peoples Park.
The first runners began arriving in the Park after about 30 minutes from the start !
As usual members of Grimsby Rotary were acting as marshals . After a briefing at the University we took up our positions along Welholme Road (from Peaks Parkway) to the finish line in the Park. Teams of 2 were at every road junction/location.
We had (as usual) a few conversation with car drivers and advised them to take alternative routes.
