Purple4Polio 2024

The purple crocus bulbs are part of the Purple4Polio Rotary program to eradicate the life threatening and disabling polio virus throughout the world. Spring each year sees a beautiful purple carpet of crocuses blooming in many communities across the UK, thanks to Rotary’s Purple4Polio program.

Crocuses are perennial, which means they will bloom again every spring. They are also great at naturalising, so there's a good chance they will multiply every year.
