A message from someone we have helped

A small grant to a worthwhile cause has had very welcome results.

In April 2018, you helped me get a grant for £200 towards a laptop that I needed for my uni work. I said at the time that I was hoping to start low cost counselling locally after graduation.

I have just re-found an email from you and wanted to thank you again and let you know that, for the past 3 years, I have been able to offer up to 20 free sessions of trauma informed talking therapy to food bank clients in Whitehawk, Brighton.

I am now a specialist trained trauma therapist and wanted to let you know just what the Rotary grants can help achieve.

I now run Community Counselling Brighton and have set it up as a not for profit (ICI) and hope to find funding to expand the service.

I hope this reaches you and you will be encouraged.

Best wishes,

Gill
