A Sponsored Walk for Water - 30th June 2024

We aim to raise money to support a project in the Pune District in India, coordinated by the Rotary Club of Pune Metro. The project target is to undertake works to recharge and improve water flow at 200 boreholes in two parts of the area.

Can you help support people in rural southern India?

On Sunday 30 June, members of Rotary Northallerton Mowbray will be stepping out on a sponsored walk of approximately 10 kilometers to raise money for a water project in India. The aim of the project is to save mainly women and children having to walk 2 to 3 kilometers a day in the dry season to fetch water for daily use.

If you can help, Club members have sponsorship forms, or you can contribute to our target through our CAF Giving page for this walk.
