Sunday, October 1, 2023

Known for the friendly welcome, traffic free roads and scenic course, the Destination Basingstoke-organised Phillips Law Basingstoke Half Marathon is a ‘must do’ race.

Basingstoke Half Marathon has built on a reputation that puts it on a level with some of the great races in the south, yet it retains a real community feel.

Just read some of the fantastic race reviews (see RaceCheck) to get a feel for this much-loved event. We are GOLD rated and are proud of that – thanks for your support in getting us there!

This year, we have changed the 10k route to make it easier for runners to clock up faster times, and we are adding in two family-friendly races for children – one aged five-10 and the other 11-15.

Keep an eye on our Facebook page or sign up for our emailer (see below) for all the latest updates – we look forward to seeing you on the start line on Sunday, October 1.

The course for the Basingstoke Half Marathon is a challenging but exhilarating and rewarding one, incorporating some some legendary hills near Cliddesden and Farleigh Wallop, beautiful countryside and quaint villages.

You will be able to take in fantastic views of some of Hampshire’s picturesque landscape and have a bird’s eye view of Basingstoke.
