Silver Sunday is a National Day to celebrate older people and to bring them together for friendship and companionship. Having had to cancel our usual October date we were delighted to host a full hall at the Ambleside Parish Centre on Sunday Feb 12th. Club members provided a most delicious Afternoon Tea and those present enjoyed Judy’s table quiz. The picture quiz was particularly enjoyable as it sparked lots of conversation about the various celebrities, tv programmes & politicians depicted in the pictures! Thanks also to Judy for her beautiful table decorations.
It was a great pleasure for the club to once again get back into action with the local community after a couple of years of restrictions.
