Know Your Blood Pressure Event 9th April 2017 -

We hosted 2 blood pressure testing events so far this year, jointly with Bolton Day Break Club at the Triangle Church on the 6th and 9th April.

On the 6th, Aruna and Ravi checked BPs of 21 visitors in one hour.

After the Sunday prayer meeting on the 9th, Mira, Suresh and Dipankar checked BPs of 28 visitors in an hour. Both days were successful although the Sunday session was somewhat more hectic.

Many thanks to all Medics - Mira, Suresh, Ravi and Aruna. Lion Dipankar became a Rotarian for a day and even wore our Rotary shirt.

Many thanks also to Maureen and John and to the members of Bolton Day Break.

I have informed Stroke Association that we have completed our first 2 sessions and have posted the top sheet of all the 28 recordings at the address provided. I have also sent to them couple of photographs from each of our sessions.

KYBP is a hands-on service project for our community requiring zero budget and limited time, approximately 1.5 hours per session. There is another opportunity to repeat this exercise for the luncheon club at St Andrew's Church - Tonge Moor Road, that Bolton Day Break member runs every Tuesday, attended by around 50 pensioners. We could do on one of the following dates:- Tuesdays 9th May or 23rd May or 6th June. Approximate time would be between 1.15pm to 2.30pm
