FOUNDER'S NIGHT at Saxon Hall

Mon, Feb 18th 2019 at 7:30 pm - 7:30 pm

On Monday,18th February  we had a table for the Founders Night which is held annually to celebrate Rotary Founder, Paul Harris. Saxon Hall served up a delightful three course meal and a few drinks to wash it down. The evening finished with an engaging and amusing talk by Pat Wilkins, the chief Wandsman of St Paul’s Cathedral. Paul gave marvellous insight into what goes on at the cathedral, and shared some hilarious stories about his experience with domestic and world dignitaries. The evening was tremendously successful, and raised over £2,000 for Essex Air Ambulance.
