Our club is currently hosting a Young Professional Rotarian from Argentina in London, UK, through the Friendship Exchange Programme. Mr. Mariano Padron, a recent graduate, has started his career as a business owner and entrepreneur. Mr Padron established and runs a digital transformation company in Argentina. Together with a team of ten (10), they have delivered projects to various organisations in Argentina.
During his stay in the UK, Mr. Padrón is building on his personal and professional connections by attending events and interacting with Rotarians throughout the District and beyond. Mariano plans to visit some Rotary corporate partners and participate in several other community events. Rotating accommodations through different Rotarians' homes is enriching his experience and helping him better understand British culture. We believe Mariano will return home with enriched cultural perspectives and a renewed commitment to the values and goals of Rotary.
Our club members are enthusiastic about fostering global connections and advancing the Rotary International mission of encouraging peace, understanding, and selfless service. We believe that the RFE is one avenue through which our club can achieve this. Our members are always interested in exploring other countries and cultures.
