Do you think you are not very good at art or would like to do artwork differently? If that’s you join Rotary’s Young Artist programme, and we will help you challenge your inner artist. In this mixed media workshop, you will be helped to experiment with different ideas and techniques. You will look around both inside and outside the Pannett and develop what you see into a piece of unique artwork using a variety of media, including items you may collect in the immediate area.

Drawing Workshop

Whether you’re picking up a pencil for the first time or looking to enhance your drawing skills, this drawing workshop with local artists Paul & Anne Blackwell is perfect for you. 

Drawing will take place either outside in the Pannett Park or in the Museum. Designed to build your confidence and creativity, the workshop will focus on fundamental drawing techniques such as line, shading, and how to depict depth, shape and texture.

These free workshops will be held at Pannett Art Gallery and are open to young people living in Whitby & District.
