What is Inner Wheel ?

Formed in 1924, Inner Wheel is one of the largest worldwide organisations for women. It was formed to complement Rotary, and took the name of Inner Wheel to emphasise the strong links between our two organisations  -  a link which is of importance to both bodies.

Inner Wheel has over 100,000 members worldwide. It embodies “Women in Action” working together to making a difference, improving lives.

We help people by extending the hand of friendship and achieve our goals by various means including fundraising and personal service.

We enjoy working together to help local, national and international Charities and are proud to have made an impact on the lives of many people.

The Altrincham Club meets on the first Tuesday of the month (apart from August) at members home for social gatherings and occasionally at the Methodist Church , Barrington Road, Altrincham WA14 1HF.

We welcome new members and all ladies over the age of 18 are eligible to join.

- To foster International Understanding 

We also hold monthly book club meetings by Zoom and have an amazing choir.
