Lunch Meeting: Haydock Park Golf Club

Community: Defibrillator Presentations

Two more defibrillators were distributed at our lunchtime meeting making a total of 11 in the community in the last three years.

The recipients this time were two local primary schools who additionally use their premises for other community activities.

Karen Cliffe, Business Manager and Sue Swift, Head of Safeguarding received a Physio-control Lifepak semi-automatic model on behalf of their school. District C and E Primary, Patterson Street, Newton.

Lynne Dove, Business Manager and Anthony Albrecht, Senior Teacher, received their defibrillator on behalf of Wargrave C of E Primary, Bradleigh Road, Newton.

The club will now organise training through the NWAS for staff at the two schools and to other staff at organisations that have previously received defibrillators.

Location and Post codes of the two schools will be added to the NWAS database.
