The Charter Night is the celebration of the foundation of the Club which dates back to 1937. The event is led by the President (Sue) and supported by the District Governor (Eric)
along with a guest speaker
This year it included the presentation of a new charter given the recent change of name from "Wilmslow Dean" to "Wilmslow and District" to try to be more inclusive of the local area which the Club covers including Alderley Edge, Handforth and Heald Green.
Scarecrow Festival
We were able to have a Scarecrow Festival of sorts in July 2021 albeit different to previous ones given Covid restrictions. There were still great scarecrows around and about Wilmslow and Handforth with money mostly raised online.
