Lendwithcare
We participate in CARE International's microfinance lending initiative, Lendwithcare.
This scheme enables us to provide finance for loans to entrepreneurs in developing countries, thus enabling people to work their way out of poverty.
We have been involved in this scheme since 2016 and as at 19th July 2027 have financed £5,942.18 to 189 loans across 12 developing nations.
We regard this as a very worthwhile cause to support and look to increase involvement when funds become available to us.

Charity Golf Day at Ipswich Golf Club, Purdis Heath on Thursday 2nd May 2024 has raised £2,660. Thank you to all participants and to all our supporters. Our next Charity Golf Day will be at Ipswich Golf Club on the 11th September 2025.

This project involved restoration of existing outside teaching areas, the addition of further benching and raised beds plus planting in several areas of the school grounds including trees.

In May 2001 we entered into this twinning which has resulted in regular cultural visits, joint projects and exchange of ideas.

The Rotary Club of Ipswich Orwell is pleased to advise that this event at Ipswich Golf Club has raised £1,600 for our support of local charities. We thank the participating golfers, the Golf Club and all other supporters.

In 2021 we completed a joint project with our twinned German club. We assisted the Greenlight Trust in constructing an apiary.
