The Gosport Golden Mile is a fun, family event staged along the picturesque Stokes Bay promenade.
The run is between the Gosport & Fareham Inshore Lifeboat Station (Gafirs) to a marked point near Bayside Cabin. This year's event is being organised jointly by Gosport Rotary Club and the Absolute 545 RunClub and takes place on Easter Monday, April 21st.
There will be a children's race at 8.30am, followed by wheelchair and adult events. All participants will wear a special bib with a chip inside which will accurately record your time for the measured mile. And every finisher will receive a special Gosport Golden Mile medal.
This year we are raising money for Gafirs whose crew will be out supporting runners on the day.
