The last 7 days have been fully occupied with activity for Tools for Self Reliance. 3 (dry!) days were spent spreading the word at Havenstreet Steam Festival and finding a lot of interest among showgoers.
That was followed by three days in the workshop selecting a final car load of 200Kg tools for type, trade and suitability. They are the the tools from 'Party on the Green' and personal collections by Rotarians - Thanks to all concerned.
On Thursday we delivered this load to TFSR main workshop at Netley Marsh where it was well received. Although we had over 1000 items to choose from the final result was dwarfed by their load of individually renovated tools in kits to Tanzania - but every little helps!
