Eric Colling - The Club Website

Thu, Sep 17th 2009 at 12:00 am - 2:00 am

A non-technical review of the facilities and content of the Club website.

Modesty forbids me to comment on my presentation today so I shall restrict this report to a transcription of the vote of thanks given by Derek "McGonagall" Hall.

Eric Colling is our website expert
To be relied upon is a dead cert
He often takes photos & loads them the same day
The Durham Website is the best, may I say.

Our District Governor to our Club he visited and ate
In his speech, he mentioned our website - "Oh yes it's great!"
I must say our Eric is a website champion
Last year he did us proud with our first Swimathon

Indeed this year he has conjured up so many "links"
Swimathon competitors can download in a "couple of winks"
The Clay Pigeon Shoot last Sunday was a great success
And Eric was there, taking photographs for the Press

Yes our website is one of the best in the land
It's a pleasure to say it, with everything at hand
Thanks to our talk today we'll have no problem accessing
This brilliant set-up is all due to Eric Colling
