Club Membership

Rotary is for all those people who want to put something back into their local community and also support internationally those who, by virtue of where they have been born, are less fortunate than ourselves.  It is open to both men and women.

The  Godalming Club has around 35 members who attend either our weekly lunch meetings or our monthly Breakfast Meeting.  And some attend both!  So I am sure there is a choice of meetings to suit everyone.

Every Tuesday around 25 members meet for lunch at The West Surrey Golf Club, in Milford. We meet at 12.30pm  for lunch at 1pm  which consists of a main course with coffee and mints. Sometimes there will be a  speaker, and on other occasions we talk about the projects, both local & international that we are working on.

On the third Friday in the month around 18 members meet at 7.30am for a  Full English Breakfast  with croissants and coffee at Hectors on the Wey, the little bistro at Farncombe Boathouse in Catteshall Lane. About half of the "breakfasters" also go to other Rotary meetings and the rest are people able only to find time for a monthly breakfast but equally committed to the ideals of Rotary.

We encourage anyone interested in becoming a Rotarian, to come along to several meetings, before they commit to applying for membership of our Club.   Rotary members are expected to help in the running of the club and also to get involved with projects run by the Club.

There is a modest Annual subscription, payable when becoming a Member.

If you would like to find out more about us or come along and try one of our meetings.
